Visit Visa Extension One Month Gap Rule Eased by UAE

Visit Visa Holders of UAE residing in any emirates of Dubai, Sharjah or Abu Dhabi must become amazed as the extension rules are eased by UAE MOI. As Ministry of Interior has abolished the rule of a 1 month Gap period for renewal/Extention of Visit Visas. This rule changes really make the process of Visa Renewal/Extension Hassle free. People having Visit Visa will no longer to exit UAE to get extension for staying in UAE.

Previous Visit Visa extension requirement includes that visa holder must have to exit the country and must have to wait for one month in order to make new visa and get back again in to United Arab Emirates. Now they don't need to exit but have to pay fee of 570 Dirham and stay for one month more in which he/she complete the procedure of extension without leaving UAE.

This rule is officially applicable to all new entry permits and visit visas. The visas and permit includes Visit visa short term, Visit visa long term, Transit Visa, medical treatment visa, residence visa and student visa.

Brigadier Dr Rashid Sultan, a spokesperson for the UAE Ministry of Interior said that these new change were part of re-implementing the decision No 337 of the year 2004. He also said that visa extensions will be soon electronically which reduce the complexity. Visa holder doesn't need to exit the country instead have to pay fee to stay for one more month and complete all the transaction here in UAE hence saving a lot of time as well as money served on buying Air tickets and other procedures.

This new rule is implemented on all immigration centers at roads, seas or Airports.
