Tourist Expats and GCC Residents and now check their UAE Visa application status online through General directorate of residency Dubai Ednrd website using the application id or Passport Number. The service is only for Dubai Visa applicants and not for those who apply for other emirates of UAE. General directorate of Residency and Foreign affair Dubai make this initiative to safe the time immigrants and tourist visiting Dubai. This E-service is fully integrated online system to process immigration issues such as submitting of applications and other visa fee transaction. Be sure that you visa application is submitted for Dubai as ednrd.ae provides status for only Dubai Visa applicants.

Go to the official website of gdrfa.ae


On the left sidebar click on the app of GDRFA.
Once you redirected to the page of Query Visa select eDNRD Application from the list of services and fill all the other details as per your application.


After click on Submit you will be able to see your UAE visa Status

    I was working in a 5* hotel in Dubai from last 5 years. Four months ago i got a new job in another newly opened hotel, as the package was better hence i signed the contract. After cancellation on 22July 2017 i send cancellation document to new company to process my visa. However they applied my application for visa after 10 days on 5th August. Since that day my application was under process and when i was checking the status online on website called dnrd.ae it was giving me information. Document required to process the visa, visit dnrd. I spoke to new company HR and PRO and they were giving me different excuses on daily bases. After so much delay my grace 28 days were also finished. Hence i exit from dubai on 23rd august. After that they told me send us your exit stamp document so that they will apply my new visa as i already exit from dubai to my home land. I set it on 25 August. Week after eid holiday they send an email unfortunately as the previous visa stuck in the system hence we applying new visa and it will issued within a week plus they didn't give me new application number to check the online status and no news so far. It's been 2months now I'm fighting for my visa with this new company but no success. Every moment I'm spending in stress and kinda regret. Because i was working in a previous company on a supervisor position. Just because of salary matter i decided to join new company as they offered better package. Can anyone understand this whole matter and advise me on it. I will be grateful.
