No Water and Electricity in Dubai From July 1 Without Ejari

Changing your apartment or just find your best new apartment in Dubai than be ready to live without electricity and water in case of you don't attest your residence Tenancy Contract by getting  Ejari from DLD(Dubai Land Department).

Many expatriates in Emirate of Dubai live in shared Rooms and apartments owner in order to keep authorities away from their flats didn't make any tenancy contract or not make ejari . Expatriates also don't care and live without any proper documentation between them and owner.

But now this mistake can cost tenant and owner facing electricity and water cut from Dubai Electricity and Water Authority(DEWA).

DEWA announced that no electricity and water will be given without attested Ejari contract.

Attestation is not headache of tenant only owner of apartment must register their contract with Ejari and Dewa, the question how this can be done.

There are almost 800 Real Estate or Property Management Companies approved by Dubai Land Department were located in Dubai where you can make ejari of your tenancy contract.

While Registering Ejari You just need to submit these Details for Dewa Registration:

Emirates ID(Owner), Mobile Number, Email ID, PO Box Number

For Old Ejari contracts they don't need to do anything to register with dewa as they their record will automatically sent to DEWA and they will receive SMS after completion, while from now on an any new ejari contract must be made with DEWA attestation. Try to make Ejari fast because the deadline is just few weeks away.
